SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Top-seeded Baylor won its 10
th-consecutive National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) National Championships with a 276.015-266.355 victory over second-seeded Oregon on Saturday evening inside the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls.
Leading 181.825-179.725 following the tumbling event, Baylor closed out its championships win with a sizable scoring advantage of 94.190 to 86.630 in team event to win the 2025 crown.
Baylor won each of the six events on Saturday, but four of the six were decided by razor thin margins, including a 56.600-56.550 advantage in the tumbling event.
Baylor top scores in the meet included a 9.95 in five-element acro and a pair of 9.925 scores in seven-element acro and open tumbling. Additionally, Baylor scored a 9.80 or higher in each of the pyramid heats, including 9.875 in the synchronized and open pyramid heats.
Oregon also put together a high-scoring meet, headlined by a 9.90 in five-element acro and a 9.85 in open pyramid. The Ducks also recorded a pair of 9.775 scores in aerial and open tumbling.
The 2025 NCATA National Championships will conclude on Sunday morning with Event Finals. The action will get underway at 10 a.m. CT from the Elmen Center.
