The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) unveiled its 2024 meet schedule on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 31).
Forty-three programs nationwide will compete in Acrobatics & Tumbling during the 2024 season, including 10 first-year programs (Bluefield State University (DII), Buffalo State University (DIII), Francis Marion University (DII), Georgian Court University (DII), Iona University (DI), Long Island University (DI), Morgan State University (DI), Talladega College (NAIA), West Virginia State University (DII), and Wingate University (DII)).
The regular season schedule features conference, divisional, and regional match-ups, as well as contests between top 10 finishers from 2023.
The season gets underway on Saturday, Feb. 3 with Glenville State University hosting West Liberty University in the first Mountain East Conference regular season matchup, and Texas Lutheran University hosting Baylor University. The regular season will feature 138 total meets that will run through Thursday, April 11.
The association has also announced the 2024 NCATA postseason slate. The Conference Carolinas Championship will begin on April 6 with quarterfinal meets, before the final four and event finals are contested on April 13 and 14 at King University. The Mountain East Conference Championship is slated for April 12 and 13, and will be hosted by the league’s Regular Season Champion. The championship features a four-team tournament and event finals.
The NCATA Division III Postseason Invitational is set for April 11-13 at Concordia University Wisconsin.
And, as previously announced, Fairmont State University will host the 2024 NCATA National Championship from April 25-28 at Joe Retton Arena. The national championship returns to Fairmont State for the second time in the association’s history.
