EUGENE, Ore. – On Monday evening, just three days prior to the start of the 2022 NCATA National Championships in Eugene, Ore., the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced its 2022 All-America team during a reveal on the association’s Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The 16-member All-American Team featured seven multi-time selections, including three-time All-American Hannah Alonzo from Azusa Pacific. In addition to Alonzo, who was an NCATA All-American in both 2019 and 2021, six other standouts were named to the association’s All-American team for the second-consecutive year, including Baylor’s Riley Chimwala and Emily Tobin, Hawai’i Pacific’s Isabella Delacruz, Oregon’s Alyssa Hew, Fairmont State’s Alexis Smith, and Azusa Pacific’s Jacie Van de Zilver.
The 2022 All-America Team also featured nine first-time honorees, including Azusa Pacific’s Jessica Gill, King’s Claire Guittard, Gannon’s Abbie Hoffman and Ali Price, Baylor’s Bayley Humphrey, Quinnipiac’s Asia Johnson and Cassidy Osher, Converse’s Alyssa Loo and Limestone’s Brooke McAfee.
