The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) today announced its 2024 National Championship matchups and at-large event qualifiers following the completion of the 2024 regular season and conference championships slate over the weekend.
 
This year’s championship will be hosted by the Fairmont State University at Joe Retton Arena and the Feaster Center. The eight-team, single-elimination tournament will begin on Thursday, April 25 with four quarterfinal matchups. The semifinals are set for Friday evening, while the National Championship meet will be contested on Saturday evening. National individual event finals are scheduled for Sunday morning at 11 a.m. (The full championship schedule is listed below)
 
The defending national champion Baylor Bears have earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and will meet No. 8 seed and host Fairmont State in the fourth quarterfinal of the day on Thursday, April 25. The nightcap is set for a 7 p.m. start. The evening session begins at 4:30 p.m. when fourth-seeded Oregon takes on fifth-seeded Mary Hardin-Baylor.
 
Thursday’s quarterfinal round will begin with No. 2 seed Quinnipiac against No. 7 seed Frostburg State at 10:30 a.m., followed by No. 3 Gannon verses No. 6 Azusa Pacific at 1:30 p.m. (All times ET)

In addition to the announcement of the championship field, the NCATA also announced the at-large selections to individual event finals, which are set for 11 a.m. on Sunday morning to wrap up championship weekend. Click here for the complete list of at-large selections.

For the second-consecutive year, the NCATA will be hosting a recruiting event in conjunction with its national championship meet and championship weekend. The event will allow potential student-athletes to meet with head coaches from nearly all 55 NCATA programs nationwide. Athletes that attend the recruiting event are also encouraged to attend the championship meet, which will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday evening (ticket purchase required).

The second-consecutive NCATA alumni event will also take place on Saturday, April 27, prior to the 2024 national championship meet. The social event will feature early meet admission and an appetizer-style menu for attendees.
