Athlete of the Week: Ashlyn Parlett (Oregon)
Parlett, a junior base and tumbler from Napa, Calif., competed in 10 heats and team event for Oregon last week. She helped the Ducks to six scores of 9.50 or higher, including a 10.0 in compulsory toss and a 9.85 in open pyramid.
Specialist of the Week: Leavy McDonald (Baylor)
McDonald, a sophomore base from San Antonio, Texas, starred in the pyramid event this week to earn Division I Specialist honors. As a base in both of her heats, she helped the Bears to scores of 9.95 in the synchronized and open heats of the event.
Freshman of the Week: Mo Arthur (Baylor)
Arthur, a base from Owensville, Mo., competed in eight heats and team event for Baylor this week. Her performance including a 10.0 in open toss and three scores of 9.95 (compulsory toss, synchronized pyramid, open pyramid).
Division II
Athlete of the Week: Chloe Parker (Wingate)
Parker, a base and tumbler from Waldorf, Md., competed in 10 heats and team event for Wingate this week. Her performance was highlighted by four scores of 9.75 or higher, including a 10.0 in open pyramid and a 9.90 in synchronized pyramid.
Specialist of the Week: Gracelyn Grady (Wingate)
Grady, a senior base from Kyle, Texas, was a standout in the pyramid event for Wingate. Her performance included a 10.0 in the open pyramid and a pair of 9.90 scores in the inversion and synchronized heats.
Freshman of the Week: Addison Oakley (Saint Leo)
Oakley, a base from Land O Lakes, Fla., competed in five heats and team event for Saint Leo, recording four scores of 9.75 or higher, including a 9.95 in the acro five-element.
Division III
Athlete of the Week: Jenna Hall (UMHB)
Hall, a senior top and tumbler from Houston, Texas, competed in nine heats in two different meets for UMHB this week. In the two meets, she helped the Cru record 10 scores of 9.50 or higher, including a 10.0 in open pyramid and a 9.90 in acro six-element.
Specialist of the Week: Natalie Podsednik (UMHB)
Podsednik, a senior base from Fort Worth, Texas, was a standout in the acro event this week for Mary Hardin-Baylor. As a base, she helped the Cru to a week-high score of 9.90 in the seven-element acro and a 9.70 in the five-element acro.
Freshman of the Week: Claire Willis (UMHB)
Willis, a base and tumbler from Waco, Texas, was a first-year standout in two meets for UMHB this week. She helped the Cru to three scores of 9.60 or higher.
