The nine-time defending national champion Baylor Bears topped this week’s rankings. The Bears are currently 9-0 on the season and have the association’s highest scoring average this season. Oregon, ranked No. 2 this week, is 5-2 on the season with a score of 270.000 or higher in each meet. Baylor edged Oregon in a high-scoring 1 vs. 2 matchup over the weekend. Quinnipiac checked in at No. 3 with a 7-1 record, while unbeaten Augustana (6-0) and Fairmont State (8-1) rounded out the top five.

Iona (3-3) is looking for its first-ever berth in the NCATA Tournament and currently ranks sixth. The Gaels have competed against six nationally-ranked opponents this season. Coming off its first NCATA postseason berth a season ago, Mary Hardin-Baylor (4-3) is seventh, followed by Limestone (12-1) at No. 8, Azusa Pacific (3-3) at No. 9, and Gannon (3-5) moved up a spot to occupy the No. 10 spot this week.

The NCATA championships committee considers the overall performance of teams throughout the season thus far and utilized the following criteria to consider team rankings: W/L record, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition, common opponents, average meet score (adjusted to remove high/low), average meet start value (adjusted to remove high/low), score differential (adjusted to remove high/low) and the teams’ progression throughout the season.

The 2025 championship field and at-large qualifiers for event finals will be released on Sunday afternoon (April 13).
