The seven-time defending national champion Baylor Bears topped the ranking for the third-consecutive week. The Bears are currently 8-0 on the season and have topped 280 in five of their eight meets this season. The University of Oregon (4-2) remained at No. 2 this week, while Azusa Pacific is currently third in the rankings with a 4-3 record. After starting the season 0-2, the Cougars went 4-1 in their final five meets. Quinnipiac (4-1) and Gannon (6-2) once again rounded out the top five this week. Gannon capped its regular season with a win last week, while Quinnipiac will wrap up its regular season this Friday (April 14) in a dual meet against Caldwell.

Frostburg State (7-2) remained at No. 6 this week, followed by Fairmont State (7-1) at No. 7. The teams are the top two seeds at this weekend’s MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships (April 14-15).

Unbeaten Limestone (9-0) moved up one spot to No. 8 this week, followed by Hawai’i Pacific and Belmont Abbey rounding out the rankings. Limestone and Belmont Abbey will compete as the top two seeds at this weekend’s Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships (April 15-16).

The NCATA championships committee considers the overall performance of teams throughout the season thus far and utilized the following criteria to consider team rankings: W/L record, head-to-head competition, strength of schedule, common opponents, average meet score, average meet start value, score differential (execution) and the teams’ progression throughout the season.

The seedings and pairings for the 2023 NCATA National Championships will be announced on Monday, April 17.
