Lauren Sturm – Baylor University
Senior, Base/Back Base, Frisco, Texas (Lovejoy)
Sturm competed in 10 heats, helping lead the Bears to seven heat victories. The senior helped Baylor tie or beat its previous season high in all 10 heats, additionally helping the Bears score their first perfect score of the season with a 10.0 in the compulsory toss. Sturm added a 9.90 in seven-element acro, a 9.75 in the synchronized toss, a 9.80 in the open toss and a 9.70 in duo tumbling. She capped her meet with a 9.825 in the open toss, helping lead Baylor to a win over Oregon on Saturday.
NCATA Specialist of the Week
Haley Cochran – Fairmont State University
Senior, Base, Monongah, W. Va. (North Marion)
Cochran helped Fairmont State start the season with a 1-0 record after helping the Falcons to five scores of 9.50 or better in events 2-5, including a perfect score of 10.0 in pyramid heat one. The senior added a trio of 9.60 scores in the synchronized pyramid, open pyramid 450 salto toss.
NCATA Freshman of the Week
Isabella Caperton – Alderson Broaddus University
Freshman, Top/Base, Catlettsburg, Kentucky (Boyd County)
Caperton wrapped the Battlers' meet against Quinnipiac with a slew of strong performances. Helping Alderson Broaddus to a 9.5 and 9.55, respectively in the compulsory toss and pyramid, Caperton added a 9.7 in the open pyramid and a 9.65 in the 450 salto.

Casi Jackson – University of Oregon
Junior, Top/Tumbler, Orange, Calif. (Willa Park)
Jackson participated in two perfect 10 heats for the Ducks, the first in the compulsory pyramid heat, and again in the open pyramid heat. The junior also scored a 9.95 in the six-element across heat, averaging a 9.75 throughout the eight heats she participated in.
Abby Ziser – Quinnipiac University
Senior, Top, Pompton Plains, N.J. (Pequannock Township)
Ziser helped lead Quinnipiac to a win over Alderson Broaddus with four heat victories as a top. The senior kicked off the afternoon with a 9.80 in the compulsory pyramid before logging a 9.70 in six-element acro. Ziser continued the Bobcats' strong run with a 9.65 and 9.90 in synchronized and open pyramid before scoring a 9.60 in the 450 salto heat.

Annelyse Robinson – University of Oregon
Senior, Base, Wilsonville, Ore. (Wilsonville)
Recorded three scores of 9.90 or better, including a perfect 10.00 in the open pyramid heat. Averaged a 9.90 across all three heats of the pyramid in which she was a featured base.
Kaylee Adams – Baylor University
Junior, Top/Base, China Spring, Texas (China Spring)
Adams won three heats for the Bears, helping the Bears break or tie their season high in two of the four heats she participated in. Adams assisted the Bears to a 9.90 in the inversion pyramid before scoring a 9.95 in the six-element pass.

Brianna Harris – Baylor University
Freshman, Base, Cibolo, Texas (Steele)
Harris competed in eight heats, helping Baylor to six wins. Harris was a member of a synchronized pyramid and duo toss heat that either tied or set a new season-high score, additionally helping the Bears score their first 10.00 of the season in the compulsory toss.
Danielle Samuel – Gannon University
Freshman, Tumbler/Base, Randallstown, Md. (Western School of Technology and Science)
Samuel help nail two scores above 9.0 in the match. In the Pyramid Inversion heat, the Lady Knights posted a 9.8, the highest of all of her heats. Samuel also helped guide the Lady Knights to a 9.6 in the Tumbling Open heat.
