On Wednesday, Feb. 15, Pac-12 Network Plus will offer an innovative, live video stream through Twitter of the National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) meet between Hawaii Pacific University and the University of Oregon, scheduled for 6 p.m. PST from Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon.
Oregon, ranked second in the 2017 NCATA Preseason Coaches' Poll, return 10 seniors and are aiming for their first NCATA National Championship since 2015. In addition, 11 juniors, eight sophomores and eight freshman join the Ducks' roster, who have advanced to the title meet in both seasons under head coach Chelsea Shaw and have been a staple in the NCATA title scene since the inception of the NCATA.
The Hawaii Pacific Sharks started their season on Monday, defeating Azusa Pacific, 275.925-275.105 in a back and forth affair on the road. The Sharks needed a 97.70 in the team event to edge the Cougars, entering the 2017 campaign, and entered the season ranked fourth in the preseason coaches' poll.
