USA Gymnastics

USA Gymnastics

 

USA Gymnastics is the sanctioning organization for NCATA competitions.

USA Gymnastics, the sole national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the United States, is recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee and the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). USA Gymnastics establishes the rules and policies that govern gymnastics in the United States; selects and trains the U.S. gymnastics teams for Olympic Games and World Championships; promotes and develops gymnastics on the grassroots and national levels; and serves as a resource center for member clubs, fans and gymnasts throughout the United States.  The organization’s disciplines include men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, acrobatic gymnastics and group gymnastics. USA Gymnastics is based in Indianapolis, Ind.

NCATA athletes and coaches will become members of USA Gymnastics and adhere to the rules and policies of the organization.
